{you again.}

Hello, Monday.
You don't get much love, do you?
You are back to work
and school
and…augh.
We just don't like you very much.
We especially don't like you on the first Monday
after the holidays.
Please don't take it personally.
It's not you, it's us.

But…what if…
we looked looked at you differently?
Saw you from another angle?
A different point of view?
Not as something to be dreaded,
but as a beginning.
And we all know the beginning's a very good place to start.
Maybe you're the start of a new journey.
We could look at you like that, couldn't we?
We could see you as something ushered into our lives by God.
That might change the way we look at you.

Monday,
what if we saw you as the beginning of something big?
Because each day…each moment with God
is just that.
Big.
And grand.
And full of miracles.
What if we greeted you looking for the
extraordinary among the seemingly mundane?
I bet we'd see God written all over you.
All over us.

Good morning, Monday.
Let's have an adventure.

So roll up your sleeves, put your mind in gear, be totally ready to receive the gift that’s coming when Jesus arrives.
Don’t lazily slip back into those old grooves of evil,
doing just what you feel like doing.
You didn’t know any better then; you do now.
As obedient children, let yourselves be pulled into a way of life shaped by God’s life, a life energetic and blazing with holiness.
God said, “I am holy; you be holy.”

Many blessings,
Deni
