Just when you are tempted to think that God is too big

to hear your prayers. 

Too large to notice you and your struggles.

Much too vast to listen to you pour your heart out 

again.

Just then,

God reminds you of who He is. 

Of His heart

and His thoughts.

And of His very nature.

You are His artwork.

His creation.

The apple of His eye.

He wouldn't have sent His Son

to rescue you and me

and the entire world for all time

if He wasn't absolutely in love with us.

With you.

His Word says that He is delights

in the details of our lives.

He is tending to the small stuff.

And the big stuff.

All of the stuff. 

He knows the nitty gritty

and He sees the heartache.

And He wants to move in all of it

~in you~

today.

He wants to move you

today, too.

To direct you. 

He knows the details of your life

and He knows what's coming next 

and He wants to show you 

how to navigate this day.

You are beautifully made...

you and every little bit of your life.

Trust God to take care of the details

and trust Him to show you what to do 

today.

The Lord directs the steps of the godly.

He delights in every detail of their lives.

~Psalm 37:23
