His unfolding story.

Before the week starts.

Before you get too focused on the here and now

and the messy stuff 

that gets you feeling 
a bit stuck.

Before all the rushing and the doing.

Before all of that…

stop. 

And look up. 

Much can be missed if all we focus on

is what 
we can do.

And what 
we can see. 

This whole thing

isn't about you. 

It's not about me.

It's about God.

His plan.

His thoughts. 

His purpose.

His unfolding story.

He is going to make a way for your best.

You know that, right?

He is. 

He will not leave you.

He will not turn His back on you.

He loves you with an endless love.

This is about 
Him moving in your life.

This is for His glory.

So whatever you find yourself 

in the middle of 
this Monday morning,

know that God is there.
God is here.

With you.

Stop

before you start. 

And look up. 

Lift your head.

And your prayers. 

And your heart.

And then,

 walk with your head high

and your soul connected

to the God who

knows what will happen next.


I was patient while I waited for the Lord.
    He turned to me and heard my cry for help.
 I was sliding down into the pit of death, and he pulled me out.
    He brought me up out of the mud and dirt.
He set my feet on a rock.
    He gave me a firm place to stand on.
 He gave me a new song to sing.
    It is a hymn of praise to our God.
Many people will see what he has done and will worship him.
    They will put their trust in the Lord.
