The stuff.

Stop and look and notice

what you didn't yesterday. 

The soft yarn chosen to make the blanket on the bed.

The ruffle on a favorite sweater.

The color of the sky.

Stop and see.

And appreciate.

Sometimes I get busy.

Far too busy

to see and digest

the things and people that surround me.

Maybe you get that way, too?

So today, let's be intentional.

 Share a smile with a stranger 

as you hold the door for him or her. 

Hit the pause button

and thank God 

for the beauty that He has surrounded you with…

even on a chilly day like today.

We have been given much.

Today, let's really, truly notice 

the much

and be thankful for it.
