yes.

This life isn't supposed to be a passive thing.

Something that happens to you,

something you just grin and bear.

Take it on the chin.

Nope.

We are active participants.

Not just spectators.

We don't just buy our ticket and our souvenir cup,

find our seat and get comfortable.

We get in the game.

We are called to be adventurers.

 To say yes.

To go and do.

To be willing

and trust that God is able.

He has great things in mind for you today.

No matter what swirls in the air outside your door today,

God has something bigger planned for you.

All you have to do

is say yes.

Yes to God.

To His plan and His vision.

Yes to the journey that awaits you.

Yes to doing something bold,

to stepping out on a limb when God wants you to.

Yes to the adventure.

It might be tempting 

to let another day go by.

To end up tonight the same way you 

were when you woke up this morning.

Don't let that happen.

Ask God to do something great in your life today

and answer the call when it comes your way.

Say yes today.

Dear, dear Corinthians, 

I can’t tell you how much I long 

for you to enter this wide-open, spacious life. 

We didn’t fence you in. 

The smallness you feel comes from within you. 

Your lives aren’t small, but you’re living them in a small way. 

I’m speaking as plainly as I can and with great affection. 

Open up your lives. 

Live openly and expansively!
