soul quiet.

Sometimes life can feel like a circus.

Sometimes you're the ringmaster,

and sometimes you're the clown.

And each day is different

and just the same

all at the same time. 

You have different jobs 

and the things to do 

always need doing, 

don't they?

And the stuff

~all the stuff~

that never seems to stop swirling around you?

Wouldn't it be nice if it all just settled down?

Maybe today, for a moment,

you can find stillness

in the middle of the circus.

Maybe you could lay down

your top hat

or set aside your floppy red clown shoes

and find a slice of peace.

Ask God for eyes to see

the bits of quiet

~soul quiet~

that He brings into your journey today.

A little peace under the big top?
