do that.

That little thing that brings you joy?
The small something that makes your
day just a bit lighter?
Do that.
Today.
And tomorrow.

Maybe a little extra creamer in your coffee.
Or that second cup.
Yes, do that.

Perhaps taking just a few minutes
to look up
would remind you in the midst of
the difficult that God is bigger.
Than everything.
Do that.

God knows the road that you're traveling.
He is with you.
Today, go easy on yourself.
Stop and take a moment to enjoy.
To savor.
To breathe.
Do that.

Learn a little bit more about who God is
as He ministers to you today.
In the little and the large.
In the midst of the busyness.
When the hurt of your past is too heavy to bear.
When the future is far too scary and uncertain.
Yes,
then.

Have ears to hear God
~who loves you more than you will ever know~
speak love into your life
in the small things
and the big things.
Today.
Yes.
Do that.

But you, Israel, are my servant.
    You’re Jacob, my first choice,
descendants of my good friend Abraham.
I pulled you in from all over the world,
called you in from every dark corner of the earth,
Telling you, ‘You’re my servant, serving on my side.
    I’ve picked you. I haven’t dropped you.’
Don’t panic. I’m with you.
There’s no need to fear for I’m your God.
I’ll give you strength. I’ll help you.
I’ll hold you steady, keep a firm grip on you.
~Isaiah 41:8-10

I love you, God— you make me strong.
God is bedrock under my feet,
the castle in which I live,
my rescuing knight.
My God—the high crag where I run for dear life,
hiding behind the boulders,
safe in the granite hideout.
~Psalm 18:1-2

Many blessings,
Deni
