You know that feeling you get when you're waiting?

Not the grocery-store-line kind of wait.

The big-life-chapter kind.

Know that feeling?

Yep, it's fear. 

The shaking-in-your-boots-it's-never-gonna-happen sinking feeling.

Wanna know what?

That feeling's not from God.

And that voice that you hear?

The one that tells you it can't be done?

That it won't be done.

Yeah, that one.

That voice? 

Well, I gotta tell ya...it ain't God's voice. 

Ya see, God's all about giving us strength for the wait.

Courage for the unknown.

Boldness for the times when we'd rather cower in the corner.

He knows our fearful hearts.

The truth?

My heart has had fear written all over it recently.

A job hunt will do that to you.

But...in those moments, I have to take Isaiah 35:4 to the bank.

Be strong. 

Stand tall.

Have courage.

Listen to the voice of the One who loves you.

Lean on Him. Every second. Like crazy.

And do not fear.
