a sound mind.

For the mornings where you think

you might just phone it in.

Not be so bold.

Not speak up. 

Not share your story.

For the moments when your

"what ifs" are far too scary

and you're afraid that the uncertainty

will get the best of you.

That it will steal your joy,

your moment, 

your day.

This verse is for then.

And for now

as you sit cradling your coffee

and needing to shake yourself awake.

Today?

Be courageous. 

Be bold. 

Live and move and breathe with passion

because why wouldn't you?

Why wouldn't we?

You and I have not been given spirits of fear, right?

What possible outcome should we be afraid of?

Things won't always go your way,

but, in the great scheme of things,

let's take the good with the bad

(insert The Facts of Life theme song here…ahem…).

And allow God to paint a beautiful picture 

of strong and redeemed 

you and me.

So today?

Let's live into God's proclamation.

 2 Timothy 1:7 is for us today.

And every day.
