{waiting} now.

Hi there.
Is this seat taken?
Mind if I sit?
Thanks.

Nice waiting room.
Good magazines.
You're right, that does make a difference.

It's good to see the sun today.
Yeah,
it does help when it's a sunny day.

So, you?
What are you waiting for?
To feel better?
For the next chapter?
To heal?
For something
~anything~
to happen?
Yep, me too.

There's a lot we don't understand, isn't there?
Sitting here waiting can feel maddening.
And frustrating.
And sometimes you just want to...
Tissues? Yes, I have some here in my bag.
Here you go.
Oh please, don't apologize for your tears.
In fact, please don't apologize for your tears ever again.
Ever.
There are bigger things on your plate right now
to be concerned about.
Tears are simply an overflow.
Jesus cried.
Why wouldn't you need to now and again?

It's okay to be honest here.
We're all waiting for something.
No need to pretend that everything's alright when it's not.
No need to choke back words
that should be said anyhow.
Just be you.

Listen...I have time.
I'll wait with you.
Will you wait with me?
Thanks.

Many blessings,
Deni

Behold, I will do something new,

Now it will spring forth;

Will you not be aware of it?

I will even make a roadway in the wilderness,

Rivers in the desert.

everything.

So I've been on a bit of a
Spring Break.
So much has happened in the past few weeks,
and I am thankful.

My mom came to visit.
She joined my story here,
and I am thankful.
We had adventures
and did things just because, well, why wouldn't we?
It was food for my soul.

God-ordained conversations happened.
And God-given passion was redeemed.
You see, I received news a year and a half ago
that sent me spinning.
Maybe you've gotten news that did that to you, too.
When God reveals a glimpse of the next chapter,
it suddenly takes the power away from the word
no
doesn't it?

And grace?
And wilderness?
And grace
in
your wilderness?
I want to write about these things and so much more.

And so today,
pen to paper.
With all my burdens,
and all my everything,
when the tears flow because of
all that I can't sort out alone,
it's time again
to move forward.
Every day is a day to move forward.
To make progress.
A step closer to the truer you
-to the truer me-
that we were made to be.

Let's go.
It's time to watch and move and pray
as God writes the next chapter of your adventure.
Of my adventure.
Think it's impossible?

Think again.

Many blessings,
Deni
